Vision and Mission of Let’s Build The Family

Working with families to build strong foundations

Our VISION is a future filled with strong families!

Families able to thrive in difficult times by overcoming adversity of all types. Folks who are able to resolve everyday conflict with joy and move boldly into their destiny.  People who are able to embrace business enterprise and transfer true wealth from one generation to another.  Families in which each person is released to be the best version of themselves.

It is our MISSION to accomplish the vision through teaching, coaching, and consulting.

We believe groups and individuals are best motivated by packaging the truth with inspiration and encouragement. Ownership results when students of all ages participate in their own educational process by helping choose the questions they attempt to answer.  Each student, family member, and business leader discovers their primary gifts and calling. They will become self aware of strengths, weaknesses, and aptitudes. Transformation often results when awareness meets motivation. Much is possible when individuals realize their own value and genius.

We do that in three ways – Building the: Family, Marriages, and Community

History

Let’s Build the Family exists to strengthen marriage, build family and bolster community. As a nonprofit* organization, LBF aims to provide a wide variety of educational services to support our community.

Archibald and Betsy Campbell chartered this non profit organization in April of 2007 but the real genesis was back in  2002 in the islands of Hawaii. The idea was conceived at their 10th wedding anniversary as they enjoyed a meal together at an Italian restaurant. The couple was aware of much pain and suffering all around them. Burdened by  marriages failing and families struggling,

Archibald and Betsy began to brainstorm a way to help the marriages and  families in their community to gain in strength. An idea was born. They started a weekly marriage and parenting class in connection with King’s Kids Preschool in Aiea, Hawaii, which they pioneered and directed for 5 years from 1998- 2003.

The class was well received by the preschool families and many were strengthened in their resolve. They titled  the class, “Let’s Build the Family”. When directed to start a nonprofit corporation a few years later, it seemed fitting  that that name should became the title of the new organization.
